Der Halm des Hafers ist hohl und rundlich und zusa\u0308tzlich unterscheidet sich Hafer von anderen Getreidearten in der Form des Fruchtstandes, der als Rispe und nicht als A\u0308hre ausgebildet ist. Fru\u0308her galt Hafer als Viehfutter und Nahrung fu\u0308r die arme Bevo\u0308lkerung. Erst relativ spa\u0308t wurde der heute bekannte Hafer entwickelt und kultiviert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fu\u0308r die menschliche Erna\u0308hrung wird heute der Hafer u\u0308blicherweise fast nur noch in Form von Flocken eingesetzt.
